Why does it take so long to get a refund?
When you request a refund for a flight, the airline has to go through a process to approve and issue the refund. This process can take some time, especially if there are a lot of refund requests being processed.
In addition, the airline may also have to contact the credit card company that you used to book the flight in order to process the refund. This can also add to the processing time.
